I ran across this site from another board. What do you think of TSU and its $$$$ compared to other HBCU's and the OVC?

True

While we are spending as must a most HBCUs we are not spending the most in the OVC. The college ahead of us are gneral the leaders and winners in our conference.

yes, and we have to win our conference to go to the next level. I am not usre of our hbcu record over the past 10 years. I am assuming we have been doing okay outside of the ATL classic record wise.

Just out of curiosity what results are we comparing from other HBCU's to TSU? The school that stands out the most is Delaware State at $13.3M. They are higher than all the HBCU's and all the OVC schools. Delware State only has 4K students. Maybe it's their travel cost that causes their expenses to be so high since they are so far away from most of the MEAC schools.

As for the OVC that spent more than TSU only Murray State outperformed TSU in 2008 in revenue producing sports. Murray ranked in the top 5 in three revenue producing sports. APSU, EKU, Morehead, TSU and UTM ranked in the top 5 in at least two of the revenue producing sports. EIU and J'ville ranked in the top 5 in only one revenue producing sports.
