i left the game in the 4th qtr. i could not stand it anymore. that game was a disgrace! utm was not that good at all. 120 you stated that u go to pratice. my question is, what the hell do they do.? i know we are talking about pratice, pratice. do they prepare a game plan or what? it sure does not look like it. i tell you what i will not go to another game while this so call coach is in place! that is a fact. utm was more physical and determine. we looked so slow! i know we have speed.

i told so old guys sitting behind me that the atmosphere was very negative. it was as if there was a cloud over everything and we know the day was beautiful. several people that i was not talking too turned around and agreed with me. another sad day in tsu history. the worst homecoming performance i have ever seen!

I am not sure what they are doing -

While half of the team is practicing, the other half is standing aroung "B S" ing.

The OL Coach is practicing the OL on "Blocking" that is standing up and looking around.

The receivers are running their routes but the ball is not thrown to them

The seasoned players are "p" off, because the newcomers are getting all the reps

I have not observed then preparing for a single game, it's mostly the same drill day in and day out. Most of the players are fed up with "W" and his blame game attitude.

- Also left mid 4th Qtr, worst I have seen since I started watching in 1968,,,, seems the Head Coach has no clue,,,, I was one of the people on here when webster was hired, to say give him his chance, he has had 5 yrs or so to prove it, yet not one OVC Title, and only one or two over 500 seasons,,, finish coaching the last two games/walk the side lines complaining of the officiating, then Pres Johnson should terminate webster, pay him off if the contract calls for it and move on, it has not worked out!

I stayed until the band finished in the 5th quarter, but I was long gone mentally. That offense stinks. Our only TD comes on a play that bounced off the hands of an intended receiver.

I have no clue what coaches see in Dominic Grooms.

When I call the coaches show tomorrow, coach is getting a piece of my mind.

Thank God for the "Aristocrats".

At practice, Webster talks more than he lets players get their repetitions.

The team got booed right before halftime.

I said to my brother, former TSU Player and a friend as soon as UTM Scored, the game was over. What have I been saying all season "You play like you practice" TSU does not practice!!!

Nothing's changed. He's still excited about Tuesday's practice.

I expressed some frustration with the teams lack of execution; but there was 1 caller who lit his azz up by calling the team & the coaching staff bad.

It's hard to imagine the program progressing under his leadership.

I just got back from Nashville yesterday, so please excuse me just now ranting.

But that game was the worst I've ever seen! I will not rip players, but they, Webster, AND Kaiss has to share the blame in this one! I was all aboard in hiring Kaiss as offensive coach a couple of years ago, but he needs to be shown the door along with the head coach. This team is shambles and is a laughing stock. UTM's offense and coaches had no respect, not for the defense, but the offense. They actually went for it on 4th downs in their own territory!! No respect. We couldn't even get calls in at the end of the 1st half on a 1st and goal. It was the worst.

Damn TSU! Damn!

Oh, and by the way, I left the game in the 4th qtr as soon as McNairl fumbled the ball. I didn't even wait to see who scooped it up.

Kaiss is not the problem. He is loyal to the head coach and can only do what Webster and the QB's that he has is capable of doing. He is a great teacher of offense but it takes brains and confidence to run all the plays in his offense. The QB's we have are fast on their feet but slow on knowing what to do in certain situations. Webster takes away any confidence they have by the decisions he makes regarding who is starting or finishing games. One week you are the #1 QB and the next week you may be #3 because of a play that you made or didn't make. Webster should take care of mistakes and problems in practice. It seems some players get away with mistakes and others are benched for the same mistakes. If you take away a players confidence, you take away a step of their speed and their ability to make fast and accurate decisions.

To add to what tsublue said, Kaiss is not the problem and I doubt if he is calling any of the plays. Based on my observation at practice the plays are being called by Harris and Pierce, they have the clip board and calling the plays during practice. The main problem is Webster, and his know it all attitude and being in self denial. People want focus on Kaiss because he is listed as the Offense Coordinator, that not the problem. The problem is the OL not doing their job. The QB, RB, WR could do their job if the OL did their job. Webster, continue to say "Execution, Execution, Execution" dogonne, the execution starts with theOL [blocking] when that's not done the RB's, FB, QB and WR cannot do their job. There is no way the QB can get the ball to the WR if the DL is in the backfield before he receives the ball. It's the OL Coach responsibility to teach the OL how to execute and its Kaiss responsibility to put all together in a game plan. If the OL cannot do their job then its impossible for Kaiss to do his.

For W to accuse Tech's DL as the reason the game was lost and penalties, is a joke. If he knew the DL was using the word "go" then it's up to the OL Coach to change from go to mule, red, cat or dog that's common sense. If he knew this was happening, was it discussed during half time, so the entire OL would be aware of this?

If you guys say Kaiss is not the problem...I can buy that. But blue, if you're using the argument that the qb's and their development is the issue, then that falls directly under Kaiss because he must develop those guys and use their skills the best way he can. Besides, if the qb's are the problem, then why are we firing Webster?

120, you state that Harris and Pierce are calling the plays in practice. If that is the case, then that is a travisty and they all need to be shown the door for allowing something like that to occur. That's just downright stupid. And if the offensive line is also an issue then that too falls under Kaiss and their coordinator, because they should work together to help overcome those weaknesses.

Nupe, You may be correct in most areas of concern. I agree that the OL has to do their job before the best QB in the country can do his. I have seen Kaiss work on plays in practice and on Saturday, the QB has done just the opposite of what he has been taught. My post may sound as though I put the blame on the QB's, and I hate to say that any one position is to blame. I blame Webster. These are his recruits, his decisions, his coaches, and his game antics that I blame.

The way he conducts himself during the game should be the way he acts in practice Monday-Friday, not on Saturday. Practice is where he should take care of his frustrations and all the problems he sees. Something bad occurs in the game and he gets all worked up and can't think and it makes the players feel the same way.( The Javaris Williams issue and others that were not as obvious) All I've ever heard him say is "If we take care of business off the field, then business on the field will take care of itself".

It seems that Webster has never established a good staff. He brought in Braxton(joke) as OC for a year. Fuller left. Reed has been moved around some. Harris has been around for a long time but he doesn't make decisions, he just signals in plays that have been called from upstairs. If Webster and Kaiss would let him work with the QB's not running the offense in practice and tell them why this will work and that won't, the backups might have a clue when it is their turn.

W admitted on one of the talk shows that "he" [staff] has not developed a QB, to include the oldest QB on the roster [From Las Vegas] he should be starting. W, idea of building a team has been a quick fix with transfers. Thats like putting Fix A Flat, in a tire that was blown out at 90 MPH. He has brought in QB every year since he has been HC. How can you have five or six QB on the roster and neither one can read the defense. Here is why, at some point in practice "someone" has to stop the sshow the QB how ro read, can Harris do it, no he is to busy with the clip board or he working with the WR. Reed is on "D" so he can't do it. I recall Kaiss working with the QB's at the benning of the season, now he doing something else. Personally, I cannot attest to anyone working with the QB since the first game.

Question: What happen to last years coaching staff and why did they leave. Ok, one got the HC position at UTC and took one of the other coaches. What about the others, I talked with one last week at the Sports Academy and he said he wa just let go, with on reason why. I honestly think, if it was not Reed's love for TSU he would be coaching some where else.
